Dr. Murray is the International Vice President for Religious Freedom Initiatives with the Global Peace Foundation (GPF). In this role, he has been instrumental in the development and growth of this work for GPF. Through building relationships and partnerships, Dr. Murray serves as the vice chairman of the International Religious Freedom Secretariat (IRFSec); as steering committee vice-chair of the International Religious Freedom (IRF) Roundtable; vice chairman, National Committee for religious Freedom, executive board member of the First Amendment Voice Alliance, along with several other organizations where he serves in this freedom of religion and belief space. 

He holds a Doctorate in Pastoral Leadership from Howard University's School of Divinity, a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling and a Master of Art in Religion from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Phoenix where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Services.

As a Christian leader, Bishop Dr. Paul Murray is a well-received speaker and minister around the world and is known for his servant leadership traits. In his call for moral and innovative leadership, Dr. Murray is a passionate advocate for religious freedom and human rights. He is a regular keynote speaker at conferences and a presenter on international program panels where he addresses religious oppression and persecution around the globe as well as inter-religious challenges on the African continent, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, the Philippines, South America and within the United States. An anointed minister of the gospel, Murray has been a guest on TBN, Daystar, CTN in the U.S.A, and Rede Globo in Brazil.  

An ordained minister serving in ministry for 30 years, Murray is the Senior Pastor of the Lighthouse Church. In addition, he has established six church works under his own ministry in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Georgia, and internationally in Nairobi, Kenya and Oslo, Norway. He was consecrated and elevated to the office of Bishop in July 2017, where he holds his ministerial credentials with One Way Churches International (OWCI).

Dr. Paul Murray
